Chai is positively packed with health benefits and this recipe isn’t going to be any different. Packed full of pure ingredients to help increase circulation and reduce inflammation. Plus with adding chaga a type of mushroom can help with immune recovery and as well as give it that extra kick of anti-inflammatory benefits.
What you need to do:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, peppercorns and 6 cups of water. Bring to a boil over. Boil for 1 minute, then cover and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Add the nut milk, chaga extract and coconut palm sugar. Return to a simmer and cook, whisking gently, until the sugar has dissolved. Strain into mugs and serve hot and ready,

What you need:
1(2-inch) piece fresh ginger( or more, if ya like it spicy), peeled and thinly sliced.
10 whole cloves
5 cardamom pods
2 cinnamon sticks
2 teaspoons whole black peppercorns
2 cups nut milk of your choice
1 teaspoon chaga extract( my favorite source is Four Sigmatic)
2 tablespoons coconut palm sugar
