Let’s Get Salty: DIY Electrolyte

Today’s recipe is A DYI on how to make your own electrolyte drink… the RIGHT WAY! You all seem Gatorade and Powerade bottles advertising being a electrolyte drink to boost performance and to keep you hydrated… but as we all know those drinks are packed full of sugar I mean like a crazy amount of sugar. Typically 23 grams a serving with the 28oz bottle being 2-2.5 servings. That’s upward to 50 or more grams of sugar. Wowzers!!!! With this recipe you will be getting all the right amounts of everything you need to make an electrolyte drink that will not only keep you hydrated, but boost your performance and your pumps with higher sodium and lower sugar. I’ll leave two of my favorite recipes I’ve been drinking lately.
